3.1.3 Harvard University (1987–1988)

In 1987, Dr. Keefe applied for and was awarded a Mellon Faculty Fellowship that brought her to Harvard University for a year. Being there enabled her to continue researching and writing as she revised her dissertation for publication. She also taught in the Freshman Seminar Program, returning to and continuing to develop her course on Ritual and Society in the Middle Ages.
