The first issue of News & Notes appeared in 1975. Dean Dennis Campbell, in collaboration with the Divinity School’s Communication Officer, Christopher Walters-Bugbee, wrote that its launch was “the beginning of a regularly published newsletter which (alumni) will receive twice a year, early in each term. In it you will receive news and comment about the Divinity School, its faculty and its alumni and occasional essays or articles pertaining to our work in theological education and ministry.”
Beginning with volume 14 (the 1998-99 academic year), the publication schedule was altered and three issues appeared each year. The last issue appeared in the fall of 2001. In Spring 2002, News & Notes was replaced by the Divinity Magazine.
