Dr. Keefe's English translation of Text 19 from the Latin which appears in her Explanationes Symboli Aevi Carolini (Turnhout: Brepols, 2012), 100. The translation includes notes and brief commentary. Dr. Keefe left both in draft form and may have intended to update or add certain portions prior to publication. The text has been checked and edited by Katie Benjamin, Divinity Archive Fellow. From Dr. Keefe's commentary: "Simply put, we have here in Text 19 the explanation of the Trinity in its economic manifestation, as it revealed itself to the world, as opposed to explanations of the inner Trinity, or the relationship of the 3 persons among themselves, how the one God and one essence of divinity can somehow have distinction in its oneness, and how we try to explain this distinction with the words unbegotten, begotten, proceeding from two."
