Description Dr. Keefe's English translation of Text 10 from the Latin which appears in her Explanationes Symboli Aevi Carolini (Turnhout: Brepols, 2012), 55–63. The translation includes notes and brief commentary. Dr. Keefe left both in draft form and may have intended to update or add certain portions prior to publication. The text has been checked and edited by Katie Benjamin, Divinity Archive Fellow. Text 10 is largely taken from Augustine of Hippo's De Fide et Symbolo, though brief passages from Isidore and Rufinus are also included, and Dr. Keefe identifies a number of other sources in her commentary. Notable from this text is Rufinus' explanation of the articles on "the resurrection of the flesh" and "the holy Catholic church," which he is at pains to point out are things Christians BELIEVE but do not BELIEVE IN, since the latter dignity is accorded only to God. en_US
