This is a talk that Susan Keefe gave at Immaculate Conception Church in Durham on December 19, 2000. Her audience was the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) group, or in other words a group of adult converts to Catholicism, mostly with Protestant backgrounds. She chose to reflect on the importance and identity of Mary for the Advent season.
