These are the meeting minutes of the North Carolina Classis of the Reformed Church in the United States. This body became the Evangelical and Reformed Church after a merger with the Evangelical Synod of North America in 1934. In 1957, the Evangelical and Reformed Church merged with the Congregational Christian Churches to form the United Church of Christ. Elon holds minutes from the North Carolina Classis meetings from 1891-1939, with 1935-1939 entitled "Minutes of the Classis of North Carolina Evangelical and Reformed Church."
