Elizabeth came to Trinity Avenue from her hometown of Conover, NC, via Presbyterian College and Princeton Theological Seminary. As Associate Pastor, she delighted in the breadth of life in the church, enjoying preaching and worship leadership, pastoral care, hospitality, adult Christian formation, and especially being a part of the church's engagement in the wider community. Elizabeth was privileged to walk with the church through a transition in senior pastors and was blessed by the congregation's effusive support of her summer sabbatical, a study of Christian communities engaged in social justice in immediate neighborhoods. After leaving Trinity Avenue, Elizabeth joined the ministries of the ecumenical Church of the Saviour in Washington, DC.
