Description:
This site, unrelated to Dr. Keefe's baptistery research, was a side-trip after she found a long line at Knossos and decided to do the Gortyn site (photos 143-149) first. The church is built on the traditional site of Titus' martyrdom, dates to the 6th century, and does not have a baptismal font.
