Ruins of the Hagia Sophia Christian Basilica at the Panormas site in Crete. Looking toward the eastern apse, the northenr aisle wi where Volanakis thought the baptistery was -- three rooms adjacent to a high atrium. That part was dug out; all the parts of the basilica were labeled.
