Description	The village of Krinetes just before Philippi has the site of this "Basilica Extra Muros" or "Basilica Extos ton Teikon" or Basilica "outside the walls." The site is actually located in the middle of the town; Dr. Keefe notes she did not see any font, but in the southwest corner of the narthex found a Latin inscription on the marble threshhold.
