Description | The Catacomb of St. Ioannis, immediately across the street from Hagia Sophia church, and down some subway steps. This Agiasma is suspected of being a baptistery. It has a sort of hexagonal structure, half-sunken, two feet high on the outside, total depth to rim of wall about four feet. Six niches with two steps between each niche. | |
