4.7 Research Trip to Turkey [2003]

In the summer of 2003, Dr. Keefe used funds from her research budget to visit Turkey, viewing churches and baptismal fonts in archaeological museums and ruins sites in Istanbul, Antioch, Nicaea, Ephesus, and more. She visited the church of Mary Theotokos (Mary Mother of God) where the ecumenical Council of Ephesus was held in 431.
