xmlui.metadata.dc.description.abstract Course Description: The purpose of this seminar is to read and discuss together the spiritual writings of a selection of seven medieval women. As Wisdom built her house on seven pillars (Prov. 9, 1), we will build a picture of the Church's theology from the insights of these women. Just as Wisdom always holds the hand of her sister, Understanding, we will place these women in their times and their worlds. By understanding the contexts in which they wrote, we can enter a strange land and among these women expand our own vision of God, the church, and its teachings. en_US
