Description The Archaeological Park (Parc Archaeologique des Thermes), behind the Baths of Antoninus Pius, which border the sea. Five-aisled Basilica of Douimès with apse in east and a baptistery in its north-west corner (s. VI). View from the north-west looking toward apse, with the baptistery in the foreground. Behind me, at the highest part of the Parc, is a Punic necropolis with graves dedicated to Baal Hammon and Tanit. The floor of the Basilica is covered with geometric design mosaics. An inscription was found (on the floor?) from Paul's Epistle to the Romans, "If God is for us, who can be against us?"
