United Methodist House at Chautauqua

 

The United Methodist House is one of the denominational houses of the Chautauqua Institute. It is located in New York state and functions as a center for worship, fellowship, and learning. The United Methodist House was dedicated in 1888.

The United Methodist House is affiliated with the Western Pennsylvania and Upper New York Conferences of the United Methodist Church and is governed by a board of trustees representing the two Conferences and the Chautauqua community.

We are pleased to make this digital collection of some of the archives of the United Methodist House at Chautauqua available for study and research. We welcome visitors to the United Methodist House, located at 4 Pratt Avenue on the Chautauqua grounds and would be happy to provide access to the originals by arrangement.
