Charge Conference Record Books

The Charge Conference is an annual meeting of the church under the supervision of the district superintendent in order to report on the congregation's ministry and mission. Members are made up of the Administrative Board, which receives reports and recommends objectives for the church's near future. Congregational officers are also elected for the coming year. Prior to 1968, the term "Quarterly Conference" was used, since earlier in Methodism's history the presiding elder (now known as district superintendent) was responsible for visiting each pastoral charge four times a year.
