Abstract:
This Mosaic in the Inner narthex in the lunette over the Imperial Gate/Door of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul Turkey features Christ Enthroned with Mary and the archangel Michael with the emperor at his feet. It is likely a 9th or 10th Century Mosaic.
